1917 -- Britain opened the first telegraph office between Kuwait and Basra in the era of Sheikh Salem Al-Mubark the 9th ruler of Kuwait.
1981 -- His Highness The Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Issue a decision for the statute of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
1991 -- The export of the first shipment of refined petroleum products after the repair of some oil facilities that were destroyed during the Iraqi invasion.
1998 -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Issued decree No. 24/1998 to form the 18th cabinet in the history of Kuwait, headed by His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah included 14 ministers.
2004 -- National Assembly debated an interpellation motion filed by MP Musallam Al-Barrak against Minister of Finance Mahmoud Al-Nouri. The session ended with a vote of confidence against in the minister. However, the Parliament, at a session on March 22, 2004, renewed confidence in Minister Al-Nouri.
